The Argentinian team, our arch-rival, got to the final against France, another tormentor of Brazilian soccer teams throughout the years. As soccer fans, we always cheer for a team, but now this choice didn’t seem so straightforward.

Most Brazilians still refused to cheer for Argentina, claiming that the ‘hermanos’ would never be so nice to us. Others decided to support Argentina, for many reasons:
