Hair Care

We were translating some concepts a while ago for a hair care brand when we came across a statement that rang true. It said that Brazilian women didn’t care much about hair care brands, especially when compared to Mexican women, for example. In Brazil, we care more about the journey.

Brazilian beauty culture is unique–from waxing to nails and hair care. From an early age, we learn how to treat our hair strands. It is not a coincidence that the ‘cronograma capilar’, a very specific DIY-style hair treatment schedule, is so popular within the country. We can’t be 100% certain, but we are almost sure that the ‘cronograma capilar’ is a Brazilian invention.

There are several sources of information about the program online, from blogs to beauty websites and YouTube channels. The program usually involves 3 stages– hydration, nutrition, and reconstruction–and demands treatments 3 times a week. There are also quizzes available online to figure out your exact hair needs.

Have you inspected your hair today? We did 😊
